KEEN SHOES

We had a blast teaming up with our director friend Justin Taylor Smith on a recent commercial shoot for Keen Shoes. One of the highlights was rigging up a slick little setup for the Ember, a compact high-speed camera, at 600fps paired with a 14mm lens.

The goal? Capture a dynamic move where the camera starts right-side-up, tilts up as a runner leaps over it, then flips completely upside down to follow her as she lands and runs out of frame. The rig let us push the shot into a surreal, gravity-defying moment—all in crisp high speed. A small rig with big impact. We’ll post the spot when it’s finished.
